Day 4

Pan-fried Bluberries
Ingrediants:
blueberries
brown sugar
apple juice (normally, orange juice is used, but oranges aren't grown in NY!)

Directions:
coat pan in melted butter
add brown sugar and apple juice and stir for 1-2 minutes
add blueberries and stir to coat
cook for approx. 3 minutes
serve with cream and enjoy!

Day 3

Sunny Side Egg Over Asparagus

Ingrediants:
olive oil
butter
one egg
fresh asparagus

Directions:
coat bottom of pan with olive oil and turn burner on medium
coat a second pan with butter and turn burner on low
when hot, add asparagus to one pan and crack egg into other
saute asparagus until tender
cook egg until it is set
serve egg over asparagus with ground pepper to top

Day 2

Veggie Pizza


Ingrediants: homade pizza dough, fresh grated mozzerella cheese, onions, green peppers, red peppers, spinach, mushrooms, olives

Directions:
preheat oven to 450 degrees
chop all veggies
spread dough out on a floured surface
add cheese to surface of dough leaving about an inch around outside for crust
add in chopped veggies
top with more grated cheese
bake until crust is brown and cheese is melted
slice, serve and enjoy!

Day 1

Veggie Scrambled Eggs


Ingrediants: 3 eggs, milk, green pepper, red pepper, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes

Directions:
melt butter in pan until bottem of pan is coated
chop up all veggies
crack eggs into bowl and scramble
stir in milk
pour eggs and milk into pan
add chopped veggies
cook on medium until eggs are set
serve immediately and enjoy!

New York

I am from New York and will be cooking with locally grown New York foods. New York contains about 7.1 million acres of farmland where many different crops are grown. New York is best known for its variety of apples, grapes, cabbage, sweet corn and onions. However, there are many more crops grown in New York.
